On 1 August 2007, Runggye Adak, a Tibetan nomad, was arrested for publicly calling for the return of the Dalai Lama to Tibet. The Chinese authorities sentenced him to to eight years imprisonment for “provocation to subvert state power”. Please take action to help release Runggye Adak.

[21 May] Dhondup Wangchen, the Tibetan film-maker who was sentenced to six year's imprisonment in December 2009, has been transferred to a labour camp in Qinghai Province. An online petition has been created calling on Qiang Wei, Qinghai's Party Secretary to release Dhondup Wangchen immediately.
