Update [November 2009]  A  letter written by filmaker Dhondup Wangchen, who has been in detention since March 2008, has found its way out of China to his cousin in Europe. URGENT ACTION: Executions in Lhasa, 20 October 2009 PDF Print E-mail
What you can do  to speak out against these abhorrent judicial executions
Harry Cohen, Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Tibet, has tabled Early Day Motion 2150: EXECUTIONS IN LHASA, TIBET, 20 OCTOBER 2009.
Please urgently contact your MP to ask him or her to sign the EDM (text shown below). Also request that he or she writes to the Foreign Secretary urging that he follows up on the points made within the EDM and to ask what the Foreign Office is doing in practical terms to establish the whereabouts of of the three Tibetans who each received death sentences with a two year reprieve.

You can email or write, call your MP's constituency or Westminster office or make an appointment to meet at your MP's constituency office or Westminster. Stand up and speak out for Tibet ... we live in a democratic country where we have freedom of expression and civil rights; your MP is in parliament to represent you as a constituent and voice your concerns. We must all speak out about these shocking judicial executions that fly in the face of appeals from
world governments urging the Chinese government to show clemency. Letters sent directly to the Foreign Secretary, David Miliband, and Minister of State, Ivan Lewis, at the Foreign Office would also be useful.
