Tibetan former political prisoner to speak at UK Parliament PDF Print E-mail
[22 January 2016] Monk and former political prisoner Golog Jigme will be giving a public talk at the UK Parliament on 27 January 2016. The talk, hosted by the All Party Parliamentary Group for Tibet, in conjunction with Students for a Free Tibet UK and Tibet Society, is part of a worldwide tour to highlight China's abuse of Tibetan political prisoners.

Uprising 2015: Letter to the Chinese Ambassador PDF Print E-mail
[17 March 2015] Text of the letter to China's Ambassador to the UK from a coalition of UK-based Tibet groups including Tibet Society, on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of the Tibetan National Uprising. Embassy officials refused to answer the door when representatives attempted to deliver the letter on 7 March. The letter was left on the doorstep and a copy was posted later to ensure it was received.
